As September draws to an end……. what a month it’s been!

Let’s just say it’s been a ‘Crazy’ month…. And wow! ….. have there been tears, tantrums and the good old…. “That’s it…… I’m giving it up!”

Marking the third birthday of “Crazy In Love Designs Ltd” with the re-launch of the brand and our new website going live on the 15^th, just a day before we turned three…. we had the sad news of the queen passing away, which shocked the nation… so in her memory I have been burning a lily of the valley highly fragranced soy wax candle, the queen’s favourite, in our beautiful crystallised elegant glassware.  

Now here we are, with the Autumn Collection being launched just days after re-launching the brand. We have added two new limited-edition fragrances in the Autumn Collection alongside the limited addition elegant glassware in orange and red.

Pumpkin Spice and Apple & Cinnamon, another of my all-time favourites! Added to the autumn collection, these two fragrances will fly off the shelf so you’ll need to be quick ….. As with all our collections, they are recyclable and refillable with our beautiful highly fragranced delux soy wax.

So, what else has been going on in the world of ‘Crazy In Love Designs’? I hear you ask!

Well we have so much in the pipeline, with the children going back to school at the beginning of the month, with networking events starting back up again and also wait for it….. I am so proud to say that I passed the interview for the NatWest Accelerator Programme and started my journey with the Natwest Bank on Tuesday 13 September 2022, which I have to say has been ‘amazing’ so far and I am genuinely looking forward to the next six months as I know this is going to open so many doors for the business. I am so excited ….  for the future of our beautiful home fragrance and candle business.

To say that over the past four months we have been on an amazing journey, after very much neglecting the home fragrance and eco soy wax business, is an understatement.

I personally, as the creator of the brand, have fallen totally in love with the product that we have created. Now, more than ever, I feel I am connected to the brand and want to share the brand with everyone, not just in the United Kingdom but with the rest of the world, after all it’s so much more than a fragrance …….

We create our memories through fragrance and fragrances hold these memories for us. …. Let us help create those memories for you through one of our fragrances in one of our beautiful glassware collections.

With only the last quarter of 2022 to go, a quick recap of the past three years in the life of ‘Crazy In Love Designs Ltd’.

For the most part of 2020 and 2021, the pandemic happened closing our doors to the boutique after just three weeks after we opened them for the first time. Having to take up contracted work to survive meant that ‘Crazy In Love Designs’ was neglected as a business.

We then entered 2022 feeling a lot more positive…. but our bubble soon burst when we sadly saw the death of my son’s dad at the mere age of 44 only to be followed three weeks later by my dearest friend Jayne who died suddenly, which totally rocked our world. Jayne was the reason why we wanted to carry on making the highly fragranced home fragrances and deluxe eco soy wax candles, after all she was the one who introduced me to the world of candle making.

I was then introduced to the ‘Enterprising You’ programme, which has been an absolutely amazing experience. It was whilst I was on this programme, I decided to take a step back from the business to look at the brand that we call “Crazy In Love Designs Ltd Home Fragrance & Candle’.

And the rest well….. it’s the future…. I’ve never felt so passionate.

As we head into the tenth month of the year…. October, my birthday month, the month in which we release our exciting Christmas Collection and the month where we begin our fourth year in business…. We’re not here just to show up…. We’re here to show the brand like it’s never been shown before….
